How WRINKLES Form As We Age:

We will age, that's a fact. But we can prolong this natural process in the body, through diet, lifestyle and environment.

The 3 main processes that happen in our body that cause wrinkles:

-Dehydration in the upper layers of the epidermis;

-Crosslinking of collagen and elastin fibers in the dermis;

-Loss of skin thickness – including muscle shrinkage and fat loss.

What to do to correct/prevent it?!

- Focus on hydration – from the inside out! (p.s.: coffee/caffeine doesn't hydrate, I'm sorry to say, coffee lovers...)

- Add rich sources of collagen such as bone broth, beef, chicken, eggs, fish and shellfish (can't get enough collagen from food? How about adding extra collagen through a supplement? We have so many options of supplements now a days!)

-Movement! Exercise! Keeping your body moving will keep your muscles stronger and healthier.

Remember: what ages your skin is ALSO aging your body internally - liver, pancreas, heart, lungs, bones, muscles, joints...). Our outside is a mirror, reflecting our inside!
